Avari is seeking a Piece Work Housekeeper to maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties in Bend, OR. The role includes cleaning, laundry, restocking amenities, and basic repairs, with on-site training and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Positions include both part-time and full-time shifts. You may work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support guest needs and maintain pristine homes for guests’ stays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Title: Piece Work Housekeeper

Work Type: Part-Time | Full-Time

Pay Rate: $ 20.00 hourly. The piece rate ranges from $36 to $225 per unit, with an average of $81 per unit. Training, required meetings, and non-post reservation cleans are paid at $20/hourly

The housekeeper will professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties, performing thorough cleaning including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and moving furniture to ensure every surface sparkles. The position involves creating welcoming environments by handling laundry, restocking amenities, maintaining hot tubs (training provided), and identifying any maintenance needs or damages. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in attention to detail and wants to directly impact guests' vacation experiences by delivering pristine, comfortable homes.

Core Responsibilities

• Professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, and wash all surfaces.
• Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind.
• Assist with laundry and linen as needed.
• Identify and note any damage or needed repairs to homes.
• Collect and remove trash and debris.
• Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings.
• Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products.
• Maintain hot tubs as needed; no experience necessary - we offer on-site training.

Skills + Qualifications

• Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is preferred but not required
• Prior housekeeping experience is a bonus but not required - we can train!
• Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms.
• This role involves frequent travel between worksites, so reliable personal transportation is essential.

• Work may take place indoors or outdoors, in a variety of settings including private homes, resorts, offices, and laundry facilities — often in varying weather conditions.
• We’re in hospitality, and our schedules can change based on guest and homeowner needs. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We require flexibility to support this.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Regular travel within the locally assigned market and / or region market dependent.
• Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, squatting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
