Job summary

Avari Management is seeking a seasonal, full-time housekeeper to professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties. You will perform thorough cleaning, laundry tasks, restocking amenities, and basic maintenance reporting, with on-site hot tub care training provided.

Shifts are seasonal from June 9th to September 30th, with a piece-rate compensation plus hourly training pay for onboarding and meetings.

Qualifications

The seasonal full-time piece work housekeeper will professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties, performing thorough cleaning including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and moving furniture to ensure every surface sparkles. The position involves creating welcoming environments by handling laundry, restocking amenities, maintaining hot tubs (training provided), and identifying any maintenance needs or damages. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in attention to detail and wants to directly impact guests' vacation experiences by delivering pristine, comfortable homes.

Seasonal Duration: June 9th -September 30th

Core Responsibilities

• Professionally clean and maintain a portfolio of vacation rental properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces.
• Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind.
• Assist with laundry and linen as needed.
• Identify and note any damages or needed repairs to homes.
• Collect and remove trash and debris.
• Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings.
• Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products.
• Maintain hot tubs as needed; no experience necessary - we offer on-site training.

Skills + Qualifications

• Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry is preferred but not required
• Prior housekeeping experience is a bonus but not required - we can train!
• Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms.
• This role involves frequent travel between worksites, so reliable personal transportation is essential.

Compensation:

• Piece rate (ranging between $36 and $225 per unit; average of $81 per unit)
• $23 / hour for paid training, required meetings, and non-post reservation cleans.

Workplace Environment + Physical Requirements

• Work may take place indoors or outdoors, in a variety of settings including private homes, resorts, offices, and laundry facilities — often in varying weather conditions.
• We’re in hospitality and our schedules can change based on guest and homeowner needs. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We require flexibility to support this.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Regular travel within the locally assigned market and / or region market dependent.
• Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, squatting, standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive hand/finger motions) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
