Job summary

Afsframing in Corona, CA is seeking a seasonal Carpenter to support construction projects on an hourly basis. The position involves reading and following blueprints, assembling and disassembling temporary structures, and performing a variety of physical tasks on site.

Responsibilities include installing wooden frames and related structures, erecting temporary handrails, climbing ladders up to 30 feet, and handling power and hand tools.

• Must be able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must follow safety regulations and attend trainings.

• Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and rigging
• Cleaning job sites i.e., removing debris
• Capable of working long hours and in harsh weather conditions
• Must be safety conscious
• Must be able to comply with all applicable safety regulations.
• Must be able to attend company safety trainings as required.
• Must be able to have predictable attendance
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment

Purpose

Carpenters perform physical tasks such as cleaning, removing debris, loading and unloading materials, assembling and disassembling temporary structures, reading and following construction plans and blueprints. The job of a carpenter varies from day to day. They are required to perform a variety of duties involving tool use, climbing ladders up to 30 feet in height to assist material placement, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds often, and operating equipment and machinery.
