Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a RN (PRN) to deliver high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing Director or Supervisor. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while incorporating age-specific development and cultural values into the care plan.

Responsibilities include directing nursing care in accordance with established practices and regulations, with possible direct supervision of students as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NRP (Neonate Resuscitation) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN - Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Direct all nursing care for patients based on established nursing practice and applicable regulations
• Incorporate patient age-specific development and cultural values into the plan of care
• Contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration
