Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a registered nurse to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at our Orlando campus. You will provide high-level pediatric critical care, follow isolation guidelines, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during night shifts.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), RN license, at least 1 year in PICU, CPR and PALS certifications; sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

Associate’s of Nursing is required.
Bachelor’s of Nursing is preferred.
1+ year of experience in the Pediatric ICU setting is required.

Responsibilities

Follow CDC isolation guidelines and use PPE per policy.
Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
Administer medications and treatments with patient safety and protocol adherence.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
Promote a professional and positive environment within the unit.
