RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post ICU-V (6S) unit at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. The role is full-time, day shift, with an hourly pay range of $47.62–$63.73 and requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within six months, and a BSN preferred. Telemetry/Med-Surg experience and EPIC proficiency are advantages.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license or Multistate RN License with NJ endorsement in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS within six months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing experience preferred; certifications MEDSURG-BC, PCCN, CMSRN are a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on nursing care based on clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately for ongoing care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to team communication.
• Support ongoing professional growth through education, ladders, and organizational resources.
