Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) at St. Mary's Hospital to deliver high-quality pediatric care. The role involves leading patient assessments, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and ensuring safety and therapeutic environments for young patients.

Ideal candidates have an RN license, basic life support credentials, and around one year of pediatric or related experience. Knowledge of EPIC electronic health records is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (Current state licensure)
• BLS or PALS certification preferred at hire
• 1 year of professional RN experience in pediatric, NICU, or related areas

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and prioritize needs with the care team
• Deliver pediatric nursing care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures
• Develop and revise care plans to improve outcomes
• Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
