Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician/Senior Nursing Attendant for the KP 9 PICU daytime shift (37.5 hours). This role supports the nurse in caring for patients and families, ensuring safety, privacy, and compassionate bedside care while maintaining equipment, supplies, and unit environment.

The ideal candidate will have PCT/CNA credentials as described, BLS/CPR certification, and prior hospital exposure, with a commitment to NYU Langone Health core values and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a PCT program with at least 6 months hospital experience.
• CNA graduate with EKG & Phlebotomy coursework; PCT certification eligible plus 6 months hospital experience.
• PCT certification through NHA with at least 6 months hospital experience.
• BLS/Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required at entry.
