Riley Children’s Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for the PICU. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality pediatric critical care, drive safety and patient outcomes, and collaborate with nursing and medical leadership across shifts.

The role supports a 24/7 PICU operation with weekend and off-shift coverage, offering opportunities for professional growth within Indiana’s premier pediatric system.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification required.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.
• PICU/ICU experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse, Shift Coordinator or other leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Nurse Manager to set and evaluate strategic initiatives on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Lead execution of departmental goals and action plans across shifts.
• Foster accountability, engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Champion evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinical staff.
• Provide operational oversight across all shifts and serve as a visible leader.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and nursing leaders to ensure excellent care.
• Participate in leadership coverage including weekends and holidays.
