Job summary

Novant Health in Wilmington, NC, seeks a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Assistant Nurse Manager to support daily clinical and operational functions alongside the Nurse Manager. Qualifications

• RN with current licensure in the appropriate state.
• Education: 4 Year / Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience; leadership preferred.
• Ability to complete leader education & training and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and partner with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily clinical and operational functions in the PICU.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care for critically ill and injured children.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and clinical resources to support effective team performance.
• Promote regulatory compliance and safety standards across the unit.
