Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA is hiring a Part-Time Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatrics ICU. You will deliver knowledgeable, family‑centered care on a collaborative PICU team, applying evidence‑based practice to complex pediatric patients during 7:00pm–7:00am shifts.

You must hold a Virginia RN license and BLS certification, with Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric critical care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS within 6 months of hire preferred.
• BSN degree preferred or ADN with BSN by 5 years from start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments and interpret data to guide care.
• Formulate and implement individualized plans based on assessments.
• Provide direct patient care in a family-centered approach within the PICU.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to arrange continuation of care post-discharge.
• Document clinical data accurately and participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care transitions.
