Job summary

Millwood Hospital, a UHS facility in Arlington, TX, seeks a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to ensure patient safety and provide continuous care as part of a multidisciplinary team. The MHT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse on the PICU unit during night shifts (11p–7a).

Orientation weeks are required. Qualifications include a High School Degree or equivalent, CNA preferred, and CPI/CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Education requirements as listed: High School Degree or equivalent; CNA preferred; degree in social work, recreational therapy, or relevant therapeutic discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety as part of the treatment team.
• Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role modeling to patients across ages.
• Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as part of the treatment team.
