Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a staff RN to join our hospital-based team in Tacoma, WA. This role offers a 0.9 FTE with night shifts and rotating weekends, ideal for nurses seeking a multidisciplinary environment focused on pediatric care.

We value CICU experience and a strong nursing foundation; BLS is required, with ACLS/PALS/NALS/NRP as appropriate. New graduates or those without PICU experience should consider a residency or fellowship opening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire.
• RN license (WA) or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
