Overview

Picture Archiving And Communication System Administrator - Cardiology Implementations. 1-2 year plus full remote Cardiology Implementation Analyst – PACS Administrator opportunity for a major firm in Saint Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate can be located in EST, CST, or MST time zones; the work week is 40 hours. The position is fully remote with travel to CST and EST markets (25-35%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Cardiology PACS Administrator / Implementation Analyst focused on Cardiology Implementations.
• Participate in go-live activities and create worklists with strong PACS experience.
• Provide troubleshooting support and customer service throughout projects.
• Assist with migrating thousands of records; strong understanding of configuring modalities and hospital storage/querying of information.
• Travel 25-35% for go-live activities; travel dates are set as go-live schedules are determined; travel expenses and up to eight hours of travel time plus food allowances are provided.
• Collaborate with a team of Cardiology Implementation Analysts and support project resources for the entire duration of projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of experience as a PACS Admin or Implementation Analyst focused on Cardiology Implementations.
• Must have 2 years of experience with MergePACS or Change Healthcare PACS (candidates with other PACS systems and the drive to learn will be considered).
• Strong experience creating worklists and participating in GoLive activities.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to provide high-quality customer service.
• Experience migrating large datasets (thousands of records) and strong PACS proficiency, even if not using Merge or Change Healthcare.
• Ability to travel 25-35% and support go-live dates.
• Strong understanding of configuring modalities machines for hospital storage and query systems.
• Green card or citizenship required; no visa entanglements (no H-1B sponsorship).
• Ability to work remotely with consistent resources for the project lifecycle.
• Preference for candidates with an affiliated hospital within the firm.

Compensation and Schedule

• Rate: $60.00 per hour on a W-2 basis.
• Hours: 40 hours per week; fully remote with occasional travel.

Team and Environment

• Team size: 5-7 Cardiology Implementation Analysts.
