Job summary

The University of North Dakota in Grand Forks seeks a part-time, non-benefited student employee. The role covers equipment delivery and surplus pickup, loading and unloading furniture, event set up, and weekly deliveries to campus departments, with 10–20 hours per week and shifts Monday–Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Work is on site with no remote option. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required, along with successful completion of a criminal history check.

Salary/Position Classification

• $15.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 10-20 hours per week:
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Morning and afternoon shifts available during hours of operation (above)
  • 3 hour shift duration, at minimum
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability: No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete equipment delivery and surplus pickup using an IPAD and other electronic devices.
• Assist with loading and offloading of furniture, equipment and materials, deliver to UND Departments.
• Complete event set up and tear down.
• Assist with department surplus property pickup and complete disposal actions required.
• Assist with weekly deliveries of Academic Building Custodial Supplies.

Required Competencies
