Job summary

Prism Specialty Restoration of Greater Las Vegas is seeking a part-time Pickup & Delivery Driver to join our team. You will operate a box truck (CDL not required), move and deliver electronics, art, textiles, and consumer appliances to homes and businesses, and assist teammates as needed.

We offer performance bonuses, advancement opportunities, and profit sharing. This position may grow to full-time with schedule flexibility and on-site work in a post-disaster environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with a moving or appliance delivery company.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds during pick-up and delivery activities.
• Comfortable working on-site in post-peril (fire, floods, etc.) environment.
• Current Plumber’s License for appliance hookups is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle (box truck); no CDL license required.
• Inventory, remove and transport appliances, artwork, clothing, and consumer appliances from homes or business.
• Deliver electronic items and consumer appliances within insured home or business.
• Assist co-workers with completion of job-related tasks when needed.

Prism Specialty Restoration, the industry leader in specialty contents restoration, is opening a new franchise in Las Vegas for the restoration of electronics, art, textiles, and documents for residential and commercial insurance claims.

A Day in the Life of a Pickup & Delivery Driver:

• Operate company vehicle (box truck); no CDL license required

What We are Looking for in You:

• Experience with a moving or appliance delivery company

Compensation

• Part-time (2-4 days per week) that can grow into full-time.
• Hourly: $15 to $18 per hour.
• Company performance bonus.

NOTE: Must be willing and able to pass criminal and motor vehicle operation background checks and be comfortable driving a 16’ box truck.

The people there are very nice and helpful. It is a great place to gain experience with just about everything that has a circuit board. Everyday was different from the last, I learned something new everyday it felt like.
