Job summary

SPORTIME Pickleball Long Island seeks a dedicated, on-site pickleball coach to lead lessons, clinics, leagues and open play while maximizing court revenue. You will design and sell programs to members and guests, and communicate opportunities to players.

Responsibilities include recruiting and scheduling coaching staff, meeting financial goals, and promoting other SPORTIME products. Full-time with earnings potential and strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years playing or coaching pickleball.
• Knowledge of the pickleball industry.
• Ability to design and develop programs.
• Team building and leadership capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong administrative and computer skills.
• Excellent people skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-court instruction and supervision for lessons, clinics, leagues, open play sessions and special events.
• Develop and sell new and existing pickleball programs to members and guests.
• Communicate with players about programs, promotions, member benefits and opportunities.
• Interact with players during social play to create a welcoming environment.
• Recruit, train and schedule pickleball coaching staff.
• Understand financial goals and work to achieve them.
• Promote other products and services of our company.
• Attend staff meetings and special events when required.
