Job summary

The Crossroads YMCA in Crown Point is seeking a Director of Pickleball to lead the operation, growth, and development of pickleball programming at the Sportscenter. The role focuses on teaching, program development, and engaging members of all skill levels.

The ideal candidate has advanced pickleball mastery, strong coaching abilities, and experience with program management systems, while maintaining strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge and mastery of pickleball with teaching ability.
• Experience with pickleball software or quick learner for program management systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with staff, members, and leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to respond effectively to safety concerns and emergencies.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
