Team Modern is seeking a Picking Lead to direct daily picking operations across multiple product categories in our Kentucky warehouse. This hands-on leadership role balances coaching with operational execution to maintain accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
The position runs Sunday–Thursday on 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with up to 4% match, and paid time off.
The Picking Lead is responsible for directing and supporting the daily operations of the picking department to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely product flow throughout the warehouse. This role provides leadership to the picking team across all product categories — including tobacco, OTP, beverage, grocery, freezer/cooler, and general exceptions — ensuring standard work practices are followed, productivity targets are met, and product integrity is maintained from picking to outbound staging. The Picking Lead acts as a hands-on leader who balances operational execution with coaching, communication, and continuous improvement.

Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 2 nd shift
Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (overtime as needed). Because we’re a customer order-driven operation, end times aren’t fixed — we work until the day’s orders are done.
