Job summary

Team Modern is seeking an Inbound Team Lead to direct daily warehouse operations across Receiving, Stocking and Replenishment. You will balance hands-on leadership with coaching to meet productivity targets while maintaining product integrity from dock to stock.

The role requires safety-minded, detail-oriented individuals with commitment to reliable, long-term employment. Monday–Friday day shift; overtime as needed. Freezer wear provided for cold areas.

What You’ll Do

The Inbound Team Lead is responsible for directing and supporting the daily operations of the Stocking, Replenishment, and Receiving departments to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely product flow throughout the warehouse. This role provides leadership to these teams across all product categories — including tobacco, OTP, beverage, grocery, freezer/cooler, and general exceptions — ensuring standard work practices are followed, productivity targets are met, and product integrity is maintained from the dock until the product is stocked. The Inbound Team Lead acts as a hands‑on leader who balances operational execution with coaching, communication, and continuous improvement

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (overtime as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Receiving Operations
  • Ensure all incoming shipments are unloaded safely and efficiently.
  • Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders.
• Quality & Accuracy Control
  • Inspect received good for damage or discrepancies
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed daily
• Stocking & Put-Away Management
  • Direct the team on proper put-away procedures (locations, labeling, FIFO methods)
  • Ensure items are stocked in correct areas and organized to support picking efficiency
  • Monitor shelf space, back stock, and replenishment needs.
• Monitor pick locations to ensure they are adequately stocked throughout the day.
• Coordinate replenishment tasks based on order volume and product velocity.
• Ensure timely movement of goods from reserve storage to primary pick locations.
• Verify accuracy of replenished inventory to prevent stocking and picking errors.
• Communicate shortages or overages to inventory team and supervisors.
• Workflow & Team Coordination
  • Assign daily tasks to receiving, stocking, and replenishment associates.
  • Monitor productivity and adjust workflow to meet operational needs.
  • Train team members on processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Support other tasks as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Our warehouse environment includes ambient conditions that may be cold in the winter and hot in the summer, with cooler and freezer areas maintained at 36°F and -10°F respectively. Freezer wear is provided for work in these areas.
