Job description

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with overtime as needed

Location: 700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168

Position: Picker Packer - 1st Shift (Finance)

Starting Rate: $17.00/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work.
2. Pick and package a variety of printed materials or print-related items requiring limited packing procedures.
3. Operate equipment such as pick trucks or hoists to retrieve inventory from the warehouse.
4. Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items on pallets, containers, bins, and in bulk storage. Consolidate items for shipment and assemble products into boxes or containers for shipping.
5. Count and sort product items accurately.
6. Perform tasks like labeling packages, organizing manuals, and handling boxes for final products.
7. Ensure shipping information is correct and packages are shipped according to schedule.
8. Potentially serve as shift lead, providing oversight and quality control. May also prepare shipments of customer samples.

Qualifications:

• Skill in using heat sealers, cutters, hand tools, and power tools may be required.
• Ability to exert force of 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
