Picker, Night Shift (Transportation)

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the efficient movement, selection, and loading of food products, ensuring accurate scanning, transactions, and timely documentation. The role requires maintaining the facility up to FDA standards. Key skills include repetitive lifting, visual identification, and understanding labeling practices. Individuals must accurately select and carefully handle products to maximize efficiency and safety.

1. Select proper products from designated warehouse areas (bins/shelves).
2. Handle and pack packaging products carefully and in a sanitary manner.
3. Stack products for loading with care to prevent damage, as directed by supervisors.
4. Build pallets and shrink wrap finished pallets for final loading.
5. Complete pick documentation and productivity worksheets, and identify products for individual customers.
6. Maintain proper housekeeping standards in all work areas.
7. Operate equipment safely and efficiently at all times.
8. Report any product damage or loss to supervisors.
9. Receive and pick orders from the order sheet.
10. Unload OTR trucks and break down pallets as needed.
11. Pack and unpack items for stocking on pallets for delivery.
12. Store items in an organized and accessible manner within the warehouse.
13. Maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety compliance.
14. Examine and inspect stock items for defects, reporting damages promptly.
15. Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks to transport items between locations.

Speed, accuracy, and safety are essential to meet the position's requirements.
