Position Summary

Responsible for moving materials, supplies, and components to designated areas within the facility. Printing and processing pick tickets, labels, and shop orders (SOs). Picking/packing orders and processing shipments. Organizing and wrapping skids. Loading and unloading trucks. Receiving purchase and manufacturing orders. Maintaining accurate counts of parts through processes such as cycle counts and location audits.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities

  • Complete physical inventories, cycle counts, receipt audits, and reconciliations.
  • Fulfill pull tickets and ensure parts are in proper locations promptly.
  • Operate, load, and unload trucks.
  • Identify, label, and verify quantities of parts for shipment.
  • Work independently and use counting scales.
  • Follow up on pull tickets and learn the general knowledge of parts quantification and placement.
  • Read manufacturing orders to obtain correct product types and quantities.
  • Report operational or quality issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and facility.
  • Wear proper PPE and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management, including cycle counts.
  • Previous forklift experience with OSHA certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 40 lbs.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Experience with handheld power tools.

Software Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
