Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a warehouse picker in Mansfield, TX. You will pick customer orders across multiple zones using an RF Scanner, placing items in boxes on a conveyor system and on pallets as needed.

You may replenish stock, follow Six Sigma lean practices for a clean, safe work environment, and coordinate with the team to meet daily deadlines. High school diploma or GED and basic English required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required or preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Experience operating RF Scanner and Pallet Jack.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Able to work independently and with others.
• Capable of meeting established deadlines.
• Willing to cross-train and move between zones frequently.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders using RF Scanner and place in boxes on a conveyor system.
• Select large quantity orders for Distribution Center customers; place boxes on pallets and move to staging area.
• Pick specialized orders or kits from various zones and place in boxes or on pallets.
• Replenish warehouse stock in assigned area as needed.
• Observe safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Follow Six Sigma lean standards to keep work area clean and safe.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of work.

Job description

The Picker works under close supervision of the Picking Supervisor to prepare products for delivery by picking products in multiple zones and placing them in boxes on a conveyor system.

• Pick customer orders by operating RF Scanner to scan order tickets, pick product(s) in multiple zones and place them in boxes on a conveyor system.

• Pick large quantity orders for Distribution Center customers by operating RF Scanner to scan order ticket, pick boxes, place them on pallets, and move pallets to staging area.

• Pick specialized orders or kits as assigned by operating RF Scanner to scan order tickets, pick product(s) from various zones and place them in boxes on a conveyor system or on a pallet.

• May replenish warehouse stock in assigned area by scanning replenishment tickets and moving products to the assigned zone by hand or push-cart.

• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.

• Follow Six Sigma lean manufacturing standards to keep work area clean and safe from hazards.

• Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Must be able to operate RF Scanner and Pallet Jack.
• Ability to demonstrate basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).

The employee must lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
