Job summary

TwinMed, LLC is currently seeking an Order Picker in our Orlando, FL distribution center. The role requires high accuracy in warehouse operations, and the ability to lift 50-70 lbs while using pallet jacks and RF scanners.

You will process orders, keep the stockroom organized, and assist with shipments. Prior warehouse experience and a high school diploma are preferred. Full-time hours with benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process product orders and distribute items within the facility.

• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer concerns.
• Operate pallet jack and handle merchandise in warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PICKER

Full Time - At least 30 hrs per week Orlando, FL, US

Twin Med, LLC. is currently searching for an Order Picker in our Distribution Center located in Orlando, FL.

The successful applicant must be able to maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day warehouse operations, and provide impeccable customer service to our clients.

A successful Picker should be able to fulfill certain duties and responsibilities. Pickers are able to perform efficiently in a warehouse and dispatch environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries. The following are some duties and responsibilities for a Picker that you should look out for in your candidate.

• Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company
• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
• Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
• Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
• Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to operate an electronic pallet jack experience preferred, but not required
• Required to be able to lift 50-70 lbs. safely
• Frequently lift, slide, or stack cases that weigh up to 50-70 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead.
• Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly
• Interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with others

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school graduate or GED required
• Previous warehouse knowledge a plus

ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to frequently stand, walk, bend stoop, or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50-70 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and is regularly exposed to extreme heat or cold, or temperatures consistent with outdoor weather while achieving the company’s warehouse service level goals.

Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background & drug screen.
