Job summary

SureHire Recruiting LLC is seeking a Warehouse Picker to accurately pick parts, materials, and components for production orders and shipments. You will verify item numbers and lot/serial numbers, stage items for assembly or shipping, and record movements in MAPICS XA and Paperless.

The role requires at least 1 year of picking/handling experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing parts, components, and assemblies required for production orders and customer shipments. This role ensures materials are located, verified, and delivered to the correct location in a timely and organized manner to support efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick parts, materials, and components according to work orders, pick lists, or customer sales orders.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and lot or serial numbers to ensure accuracy.
• Stage picked materials for assembly, packaging, or shipping as directed.
• Use handheld scanners or ERP systems to record inventory movements and maintain accurate stock records.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse shelves, bins, and staging areas.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and inventory control teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Follow company safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or mislabeled items to supervision.
• Maintain updated and correct info in ERP system (MAPICS XA) and Paperless.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to safely lift, move, and load materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
