Job summary

Arlon Graphics LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to support order picking, packing, and shipping processes. You will use an RF scanner to confirm part numbers and lot IDs, load materials onto pallets, and prepare shipments with banding and stretch wrap.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, verifying accuracy, and collaborating with other departments to maintain productivity and safety standards. A high school diploma and experience with reach trucks and RF scanning are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of order-picking experience or similar.
• Experience with stand-up reach trucks and RF scanners.
• Experience operating forklift equipment is required.

• Pick and assemble customer orders from stock using RF scanner against picking tickets.
• Load picked rolls onto pallets and transfer to shipping.
• Use banding machine to secure loads for transit.

Description

Marks all pallets with identifying information per Manual Work Instructions (MWI).

Summary/Objective:

Transfer (QSP#35) of packed finished product to the warehouse in a timely manner. Pick orders and validate part numbers and lot identification numbers to ship (QSP#33).

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or assigned locations.
2. Pick and assembles customer orders from stock, accurately against picking tickets using an RF Scanner.
3. Load picked rolls onto pallets or convey to the shipping department.
4. Must use banding machine to safely secure the load for transit.
5. Use RF Barcode Scanner and workstation to make inventory transactions. Is able to validate reports and correct picking errors for 100% accuracy before shipment.
6. Operate the stretch wrap machine.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of previous order picking experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Stand up reach truck and Order/ Cherry Picker experience required
• RF Barcode Scanner experience required

Language Skills

Communication skills, both written and verbal must be at least at an 9th grade level. Must be able to communicate in English and follow work instructions.

Mathematical Skills

Must be able to do basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction and multiplication.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to interface with other departments and employees.

Ability to follow written Quality Safety Process (QSP) and Standard Operator Procedures (SOP) that apply to the job requirement.

Ability to use rulers and common measuring devises.

Must be able to operate a hand truck and a forklift.

Meets job requirements while maintaining a high level of productivity, safety, service and accuracy within the written and on-the-job training of standard operating procedures.
