Job summary

Isabella Bank in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking a Teller to handle deposits, withdrawals, and customer service at a busy branch.

You will verify cash, process payments, and assist customers with accounts and service options while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Training provided; opportunities for growth exist within the branch network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts, endorse checks, and enter deposits into computer records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals; pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Promote and explain other financial institution services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.
• Receive mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensure payments match balance due; enter payments into computer and generate receipts.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Ensure teller stations are stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for this position.
• Perform other similar or related duties as necessary.
• Assist with account opening procedures.
• Pin ATM/Debit cards.
• Document and file items into synergy.
• Travel to other branches to assist with staffing may be required.
