Position: Pick-up and Delivery Driver

As a vital part of customer relations, AAA Cooper Transportation Pick-up and Delivery Drivers are responsible for ensuring that freight is delivered on time and damage-free. As a full-time employee, you will enjoy benefits such as:

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
2. Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment, either individually or with assistance.
3. Record shipment details using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.
4. Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
5. Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
6. Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking the landing gear.
7. Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition as required by laws and company policies.
8. Fuel trucks and tractors.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
