Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers.
• Manually load and unload delivery trucks, verify parts loaded/unloaded, and collect payments from customers.
• Obtain signatures from receiving locations confirming the accuracy of deliveries and return items.
• Drive responsibly, avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
• Verify condition of the truck, the manifest, and related paperwork.
• Make notations on the manifest and provide receipts for returned parts.
• Comply with Company policies and procedures and operate in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Complete annual training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

• No Degree Required; 1+ years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must qualify for corporate insurance programs and meet DOT testing and physical requirements.
• At least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Six months related delivery driving experience.
• Prior warehouse operations experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic math skills and ability to interpret data and create documents using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle routine problems and make decisions affecting own job.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with moderate complexity.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

May require standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Exposure to hazardous conditions, extreme temperatures, and noise. Periodic travel may be required.
