Pick and Pack Associate - 2nd Shift

The Pick and Pack Associate is responsible for accurately packing small HVAC parts and service components for customer and dealer orders within a high-volume warehouse distribution environment.

PAY RATE: 20.00 hour
LOCATION: Romeoville, IL 60446
HOURS: 3:00pm to 11:30pm
POSITIONS: 10 Positions Temp to Hire

• Core responsibilities include utilizing RF scanners or pick tickets to verify part numbers, quantities, and overall order accuracy, while selecting the appropriate cartons, dunnage, and packaging materials to ensure timely, damage-free shipments.
• The individual must label, seal, and stage packages for outbound shipping, maintain established productivity and quality performance standards, and identify or report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to leadership.
• Additionally, the role requires strict adherence to all safety policies, standard operating procedures, and housekeeping guidelines, keeping packing stations clean and fully stocked, assisting with rework or peak-season volume projects, and working collaboratively across picking, shipping, inventory, and quality teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pass a Drug Test including THC
• Before start date must have steel toe boots or shoes with this rating: ASTM f2413-18 (proof required)
• Before start date Puncture proof inserts for saftey boots
• Complete a Background Check

REQUIREMENTS:

1 year of Warehouse experience
