Job summary

Staff Perm, LLC is seeking a Pick and Pack Associate in Romeoville, IL to accurately pack HVAC parts and service components for customer orders. This role requires selecting appropriate packaging materials, labeling, sealing, and staging packages for outbound shipping in a high-volume warehouse.

The position offers a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule, temp-to-hire potential, and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of warehouse experience,

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
Pass a drug test including THC.
Steel toe boots or shoes with ASTM f2413-18 rating (proof required) before start date.
Puncture proof inserts for safety boots before start date.
Complete a background check.

Responsibilities

Accurately pack small HVAC parts and service components for orders.
Select cartons, dunnage, and packaging materials to ensure damage-free shipments.
Label, seal, and stage packages for outbound shipping.
Maintain productivity and quality performance standards.
Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to leadership.
Follow all safety policies, standard operating procedures, and housekeeping guidelines.
Keep packing stations clean and fully stocked.
Assist with rework or peak-season volume projects.
Work collaboratively with picking, shipping, inventory, and quality teams.
