Job summary

VTP is seeking a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant (PICC RN) in Tracy, CA. The role involves placing PICCs and vascular access devices using ultrasound guidance, with on-site or mobile assignments and weekend/holiday rotation.

Full-time or per diem positions are available. Competitive pay ranges $50–$70/hour, sign-on bonuses for full-time staff, comprehensive benefits, and company vehicle or mileage reimbursement. USGIV experience is required.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and USGIV placement experience.
• Vascular access device management and troubleshooting.
• BLS certification and valid driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Use ECG for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with PICC and vascular access device management.
• Provide access support: port access, line removal, declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on CVADs.
