Job summary

Wake Forest University’s Department of Health and Exercise Science invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor of Physiology and Anatomy to begin July 1, 2027. This full-time non-tenure track position will teach physiology, anatomy, and exercise physiology, including associated laboratories and a cadaver prosection lab.

The successful candidate will maintain a teaching load of six 3-credit courses annually, advise undergraduate majors, mentor students, and participate in

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field; ABD candidates invited.
• Experience teaching undergraduate lectures and labs, including cadaver labs.
• Strong commitment to student engagement and mentoring.
• Ability to advise majors and contribute to department and college service.

Responsibilities
