Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in biology or closely related field; ability to teach anatomy and physiology.
  • Experience teaching anatomy and physiology is preferred.
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with department faculty to develop teaching strategies relevant to the discipline.
  • Develops and designs curriculum and instructional materials for a course of instruction.
  • Contributes to teaching and learning scholarly work including publications/presentations.
  • Contributes to curriculum development to ensure academic integrity of the unit.
  • Advises students on academic and career directions within the field.
  • Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction, including assessment of student performance.
  • May supervise student employees involved in development or delivery of instruction.
