Wake Forest University is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor of Physiology and Anatomy in the Department of Health and Exercise Science. The candidate will teach physiology, anatomy, and related labs, including cadaver prosection labs, and advise/mentor undergraduates. The position is full-time, non-tenure track, beginning July 1, 2027.

Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Exercise Science or Kinesiology required; ABD candidates invited.

Qualifikationen

• Candidates should possess a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related discipline; ABD candidates are invited to apply.
• Experience teaching undergraduates in lecture and lab settings (including cadaver labs) and mentoring students.

Aufgaben

• Teach a variety of Health and Exercise Science courses including physiology and anatomy and their labs.
• Maintain a teaching load equivalent to six 3-credit courses per year.
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to undergraduate students.
