Job summary

Qualifications

• M.S. in Physics or closely related field (or equivalent).
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness, including the ability to effectively respond to the academic needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Evidence of the ability to use effective classroom strategies and pedagogies to advance equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Teaching of introductory physics lab courses, in person and on campus.
• Grade lab assignments and provide feedback to students; submit mid-semester and final grades via Canvas.
• Hold office hours in consultation with the Physics Department Chair.
