Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics or Astronomy (or closely related field) with 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience or relevant instructional environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physics and Astronomy, including seated, hybrid, and online classes at multiple campus locations or area high schools.
• Advise students in assigned programs and track student performance and attendance.
• Maintain accurate records for assessment, attendance and student outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with College policies and federal/state guidelines; protect confidentiality.
• Manage physics and astronomy lab spaces, equipment, supplies, and lab safety.
