Job summary

NC A&T invites applications for Part-Time Instructors in the Department of Physics for Spring 2026 or Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced physics courses, in person or online, and may engage in advising and program activities.

A Master’s degree in Physics or closely related subject and 18 graduate credit hours are required; 1–3 years teaching experience is preferred. Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be possible under policy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics or closely related subject with a minimum of 18 credit hours of graduate coursework.
• 1–3 years teaching experience preferred for lecture courses at university or community college level.
• Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be available in accordance with university/state policies.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face and/or online physics courses as assigned.
• Provide academic advising to students and support student organizations.
• Participate in program development and assessment, collaborating with faculty and staff.
