Sinclair Community College's Physics Department invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses. Classes are taught by dedicated faculty using state-of-the-art facilities and computer-assisted data acquisition.

The starting pay is $1,046 per credit hour assigned to teach. This part-time position is open to applicants who reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky, or who can work within these states. A master's degree in physics or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physics or equivalent with 18 graduate credit hours in the content area.
• Evidence of successful prior teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills in a diverse college community.
• Experience using modern educational technology and multimedia instruction.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare syllabi for all assigned sections per policies.
• Use appropriate teaching methods and instructional technology.
