LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an Academic Radiation Physicist to ensure high-quality radiation therapy and imaging across multiple facilities in New Jersey. You will support clinical protocols, engage in research, and participate in teaching activities for residents and staff.

The role requires strong clinical experience in radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and treatment planning, with a PhD or MS in medical physics or related fields.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.S. in medical physics, physics, or related fields required.
• Board certification or eligibility required.
• Clinical experience with radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of LINAC operations and special procedures.
• Strong commitment to patient care, education, and research.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment calibration, commissioning, and quality assurance.

Role Overview:
An Academic Radiation Physicist ensures high-quality radiation treatment and imaging, supports clinical research, and participates in teaching activities. The role involves providing radiation services across multiple facilities, supporting clinical protocols, and engaging in research and education to advance patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required: Ph.D. or M.S. in medical physics, physics, or related fields; board certification or eligibility; clinical experience with radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and treatment planning; knowledge of LINAC operations and special procedures; strong commitment to patient care, education, and research.
Preferred: CAMPEP-accredited residency, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently.
