The position requires performing daily, weekly, and periodic equipment QA, collaborating with engineers, and participating in protocol studies.
Key duties also involve maintaining documentation, adhering to safety standards, and supporting the Radiation Safety Officer.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. with at least five years of experience, a minimum of two years in radiation therapy, and ABR certification or eligibility.
Strong knowledge of radiation concepts, procedures, and safety protocols is essential, along with self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Certification as a Medical Physicist (ABR) within 120 days is required.
