Job summary

WoundCentrics is seeking a knowledgeable Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals, delivering advanced wound management in hospital-based outpatient departments, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals.

You will conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to our mission of compassionate, outcomes-driven wound care—while enjoying work-life balance with no nights, weekends, or on-call

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted state medical license.
• Board certification.
• Wound care experience — 1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of chronic health conditions and health promotion guidelines.
• Detail oriented, dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Ordering and scheduling necessary studies and professional consultations.
• Providing direct patient care services.
• Evaluates wound care and hyperbaric care issues.
• Takes part in facility orientation and training.
• Reviews hyperbaric and wound care patient records.
• Reviews research protocols for IRB-standards compliance.
• Reaches out to area medical community to identify new facilities for company to service.
• Supervise mid-level practitioners
