Job summary

WoundCentrics is seeking a knowledgeable Physician to join our wound care team at the Shoreline location in Corpus Christi, TX. The role focuses on advanced wound management across hospital outpatient settings, SNFs, and LTC facilities, with emphasis on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

You will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, provide direct patient care, and participate in training through Wound Care Univ while contributing to program expansion and measurable patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted state Physician license.
• Board certified.
• Wound Care experience — 1 year preferred.
• Knowledgeable of care of common chronic health conditions as well as health promotion and prevention guidelines.
• Detail oriented, dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Ordering and schedule necessary studies and professional consultations.
• Providing direct patient care services.
• Evaluates wound care and hyperbaric care issues.
• Takes part in facility orientation and training.
• Works closely with leadership.
• Reviews hyperbaric and wound care patient records.
• Reviews research protocols for IRB-standards compliance.
• Reaches out to area medical community to identify new facilities for company to service.
• Supervise mid-level practitioners.
