Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Physician - Urology for a 13-week assignment in the United States. The candidate will cover clinic hours and operating room procedures, with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and required on-call coverage.

The ideal physician holds an active PA license or IMLC/LOQ, board certification in Urology, and at least 1 year of Urology experience. Robotic surgery experience is preferred but not required; EPIC is the EMR system used.

• No more than 3 malpractice settlements; none over $500K.
• Board Certification in Urology (BC or BE) required.
• Minimum 1 year of Urology experience.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour on-call coverage as needed.
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Description:This position requires coverage in both clinic and OR settings.Clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch.24-hour call is also required as needed.The support staff includes 4 medical assistants, 1 clinical staff assistant, and 1 registered nurse.The expected patient population is adults over 18, with exceptions for emergencies.Routine procedures mix cystoscopy and stent procedures with office visits.The average patient load is around 24-28, which may vary based on urgent needs.The EMR system used is EPIC.Robotic surgery experience is preferred but not required.There are a total of 16 operating rooms available for use.Supervision of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants is required.Office equipment available includes cystoscopes and towers for injections.Core procedures include vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile procedures, lithotripsy, and circumcision.Occasional support may be required for pediatric cases.Compliance with credentialing is necessary before starting the position.Health requirements include vaccinations, physical, and fitness assessment.
