Job summary

Astrya Global is hiring a Urologist for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include clinic and OR coverage with daytime rounds and no night/weekend calls.

Requirements include 3+ years in general urology, PA license or IMLC LOQ, active DEA registration, and board certification or eligibility. EPIC EMR is used for documentation, and credentialing must be completed promptly.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in urology.
• PA license to practice in Pennsylvania or IMLC LOQ.
• Active DEA registration.
• Minimum 3 years of general urology experience (new graduates may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Provide urology specialty coverage in a clinic and OR setting with occasional daytime hospital call for rounding, consults, and add-on cases.
• See 40-70 patients per day in a 9 exam room, 3 procedure room urology office.
• Perform and assist with special procedures including ureteroscopies.
• Conduct hospital rounds, consults, and OR cases during daytime hours (no nighttime or weekend call).
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch).
• Collaborate with support staff including 3 Medical Assistants, 1 LPN, a surgical scheduler, 3 front office staff, and a practice manager.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and charting.
• Meet minimum experience requirement of 3 years in general urology (new graduates may be considered).
• Complete full compliance requirements 2 weeks prior to start date.
• Submit required credentialing documentation including Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing.
• Schedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection within required timeframe.
• Comply with health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing.
