Job summary

PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join our established Trauma department. This full-time role offers work in a high-volume center with a blend of trauma, general surgery and ICU, and a schedule of 12-hour shifts including day and night coverage.

Join a team of 8 surgeons and 5 APCs, with in-house trauma support and a full-time 165 shifts/year cadence, located in Springfield/Eugene area along the Willamette Valley.

Qualifications

• Trauma surgeon join the Trauma department.
• Experience in trauma and acute care surgery settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and share workload with a team of 8 surgeons and 5 APCs.
• Deliver care across trauma, general surgery and ICU.
• Provide 12-hour shifts, day and night.
• Maintain in-house trauma surgical support.
• Full-time schedule: 165 shifts/year.

PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center Trauma Surgery department is hiring a full-time Trauma Surgeon to join our established Trauma department.

RiverBend Medical Center cares for a variety of complex Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients. RiverBend Medical Center is a tertiary care center with an ACS Level II Trauma center designation supporting a large catchment area along the Oregon coast and southern Oregon.

Practice Highlights

• Working with a team of 8 Surgeons and 5 APCs to coordinate and share the workload.
• Blend of Trauma, General Surgery, and ICU.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts mix of day and night shifts.
• In-house Trauma surgical support
• Full-time 165 shifts/year
