PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield, OR invites an experienced Neurointensivist to join a 3-physician (soon to be 4) team in a state-of-the-art Neuro ICU.

Provide 24-hour coverage and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team serving a large rural catchment across southwest and Eugene/Springfield. Enjoy a Level II trauma center focused on safety and quality outcomes.

First-year salary is competitive with relocation, CME and loan repayment options.

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour Neuro ICU coverage with a growing APC team.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based neurocritical care.
Participate in trauma and stroke pathways within a Level II trauma center.

Job description

Join an established Neurointensivist team (3 physicians and soon to be 4 APC team) and Comprehensive Stroke center at RiverBend Neuro ICU, providing 24 hour coverage at the largest hospital between Portland and Sacramento.

We serve a large rural catchment area including the southwest, coastal Oregon as well as the surrounding Eugene/Springfield communities and regularly get referrals from critical access hospitals located in these areas. PeaceHealth is also a Level II trauma center with a focus on individualized patient care and safety.

Springfield is located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country. Two rivers run through the community, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River. Bike, walk or run the Middle Fork Path along the Willamette River, or spend the day fishing on the McKenzie River. Springfield has a flourishing downtown and fast becoming a must visit for your culinary experience! Minutes away from Eugene, OR and the University of Oregon campus. Go Ducks!
