Additional Job Description:
West Virginia University School of Medicine - Eastern Division and the Department of Surgery seeka General/Bariatric Surgeon(ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of 50% General/50% Bariatric Surgery.In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications:Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. A successful candidate must have completed a surgical surgery residency program. Roboticsrequired. Fellowship in Bariatrics preferred. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in General/Bariatric Surgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment.
