Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a Physician Substitute for our Center Medical team in Huntsville, TX. You will oversee donor health and safety, support the donor experience, and collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive environment during fast-paced growth.

The role requires licensing as an RN or equivalent, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will be cross-trained in all center operations and have opportunities to expand responsibilities and earnings.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or higher.
• Certified/licensed as RN, Paramedic, LPN, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic EMT in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with all center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.
